Description
The Business Development Manager (BDM) for Western Canada will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic business opportunities and partnerships. This includes new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
Requirements
- Experience:
Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in business development, sales, or a related field.- Identify opportunities with prospective partners and own the partner acquisition cycle from first contact to launch.
Identify, address and develop new opportunities for sales in a geographic region. - Understand customer requirements in targeted markets.
- Enhance existing partnerships by establishing full sales, marketing and training plan.
- Identify and represent 5 Continents in relevant trade shows and conferences.
- Develop & strengthen market share, revenue, and sales growth within assigned geography
- Monitor competitive activity and provide feedback to management
- Identify opportunities with prospective partners and own the partner acquisition cycle from first contact to launch.

- Home based
- Position requires to be on the road at time (must have a valid driver’s license)
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends as required
- Requires travel – for clients visits, FAM trips, conferences, meetings etc
